Action Activists is A Comic Book Guide to the History of Civic Protest In New York City. Presented in Ryan and Fred's signature funny-but-factual non-fiction comic book storytelling style, the series was created in partnership with The New York City Department of Education and is integrated into the national largest public school system as part of their social studies core curriculum.

Action Activists #1 teaches readers what civics is, how it works, and how it doesn't!​

Action Activists #4 investigates what a world without civic action would look like.

How To Be An Action Activist #1 is a special storybook introduction to civics for early readers, starring the popular Squirrel and Pigeon sidekick characters.​

How To Be An Action Activist #2 shows how young children can create change through civic action in their own communities.

Action Reporters #1 tells 3 real-life tales of journalists who sparked social progress.
